Honoring our Veterans of all Wars & Conflicts

The Chelmsford Veterans' Memorial Park is a place of honor and recognition of the dedication to duty and sacrifices made by all veterans in our community. This peaceful setting is here to be enjoyed by everyone. It is our hope that those who come will remember those who answered the call in defense of our freedom.

Please join the Merrimack Valley Vietnam Veterans (MVVV) in a flag raising ceremony to be held July 4th in the park. The planned time is 9:00. MVVV will be assisted by our own Chelmsford Police Honor Guard doing the ceremonial firing and Col. Sam Poulten who will be playing TAPS.

The donation box at the park had been stolen toward the end of last year. Our friends from the Chelmsford Fire Department came to the aide of the Park Committee and offered us a new box. This generous act has been very much appreciated by all of committee members. The new box is now refurbished and installed at the Bagni Bridge enterand to the park. Please take a moment and contribute to the continuous care of the park. The Committee would like to offer a "THANK YOU" to our Fire Department for their thoughtfulness.
